Moved some Pineapple Mint, Daylilies,  Iris, Datura, Black Eyed Susan, and Spirea along the wall to the entrance of the church parking lot. Tomorrow I will move some more Pineapple Mint, some Bishops Weed, Bachelors Button, and some Sunrise Coreopsis. I also have some lambs ear and a few other small plants I might try to fit in to make the space between my house and the church parking lot look nice. Right now its just over grown Holly and messed up Pine Trees that have been pruned and trimmed to look like crap. There is also a lot of Poison Ivy Virginia Creeper and Weeds. Fran Etta and a young eagle scout gardener from the church have done such a nice job with the landscaping I enjoy looking out each day to see whats new and get inspiration to make improvements to my own yard and the area between the church parking lot and my house. Here are some pictures of what the area has gone through since I bought my place and some of the plants that are going in now.

This was in April of 2009 when I first bought the place this is even after I did a bunch of cleaning up.

Summer is here

Well summer is here again and I have been moving plants around and clearing out some plants that have doubled or have become to large. I have managed to so far find new homes for the plants that I have been removing. A lot of them have gone to neighbors and the church next door to me. I love this because I can still enjoy them and see them each day. I have also met two new friends from the church  who are fellow gardeners that share their gardening knowledge and skills with me. here are a few pictures of whats going on right now in my garden.
